Well, not quite. But Facebook has 500m users and its virtual currency, the Facebook Credit, is soaking into real-world markets like syrup into a pancake. Pretty soon it will be everywhere and we won't see it any more. But we'll taste it, yes we will.
PS I am heading to Germany for a 10-day trip so, unless others get itchy fingers, the blog may doze a bit.
Well, in Brasil people still use orkut a lot more than Facebook, but the migration has started. Hopefully, Americans and Europeans will move on to the next social media in the next years as happend to Friendster.
Good trip! : )

What I know is that nobody knew what Facebook is in Germany just four years ago; now more and more people are sending "Einladungen“ to each other. We can assume beyond any reasonable doubt, this is largely due to the fact that Facebook has been localised into God knows how many languages in 2007. Now, it's everywhere (except Japan where they use Mixi).
About the Facebook Credit though. Does anybody actually know anyone who use it.

Damn, facebook is really taking over. No wonder they turn the blind eye on Zynga shady's practice:
