Interesting article, showing how high the gamer tide is rising these days. I thought the description of games as "new media literacies" avoiding the G-word in documentation presumably aimed at parents was an interesting indicator that we haven't quite arrived at respectability yet.
I wonder when a school will feel able to say "this lesson involves playing games as a method of learning" in plain language.
