RTS strikes me as an incredibly useful tool for research into business operations. I took an operations class last semester and the first thing that struck me was the similarity between process flow charts and tech trees. (I know these, when i get here I build a carrier!)

They could be used to chart the speed with which users can learn complicated new systems and how well they use them, as well as ant-like processes for how quickly users develop best practices.

I love the way the scientists do their science :
"HBV is spread through having sex with an infected person without using a condom (the efficacy of latex condoms in preventing infection with HBV is unknown..." - this was from :http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/diseases/hepatitis

and another one :

"ALL cancer victims drank either breast milk, cow milk, or formula as infants, and then moved on to drinking water."

" If your parents did not have kids, the odds are that you won't either."
