Back in January this year Espen Aarseth (short beard) of ITUC and Henry Jenkins (long beard) of MIT met up at HUMlab in Sweden to discuss games. Fortunately the face to face was filmed and even more fortunately there is a stream.
So if you want over an hour of heavy weight discussion of: what it is to study games, ludology the role of story and a whole lot more, tune in, kick back and enjoy.
can anyone see the stream ? when i click on the link i get sent to a "cannot display this page" message

Ok figured it out - you gotta have real player installed although just clicking on the link didnt work for me anyway. i opened the site with real player browser and added the link to the now playing section. then it worked.
there s porbably an easier way around it but this is the only thing that worked for me...

Thx for that Gordon, i'm running Firefox 1.0 and have Real installed so the link just goes straight into it for me.
Note to self: be explicit about media options next time I add a stream link.
